Multi Skilled Journalist/Sports

Sports Multi-Skilled Photographer CBS Miami is looking for an experienced Sports Multi-Skilled Photographer. Duties will include the shooting and editing of sports stories, MMJ reporting, producing and fill-in anchoring. This role also includes setting up live shots, using professional audio equipment, and working independently or alongside anchors/reporters. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and be proficient with non-linear editing.

Responsibilities Include:

• Shoot, produce, write, and edit sports segments and shows
• Assist with the creation and production of high-energy and innovative sports content
• Solid photography & writing skills
• Must be able to troubleshoot minor equipment problems in the field and monitor/perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Manage and ingest media efficiently
• MMJ creative stories
• Other duties assigned by Manager

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience
• Grass Valley Edius or similar platform editing experience
• LIVE U backpacks or similar technology experience
• A valid license and a good driving record
• Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends and travel on short notice
