Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate Groomer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about animal care. You’ll work with a supportive staff and a steady base of regular clients who appreciate top-quality grooming and personalized attention.
Responsibilities
Perform full-service grooming (bathing, drying, haircuts, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.) for dogs of all breeds and sizes
Provide excellent customer service — discuss desired styles with clients, note special requests, and ensure each pet’s comfort and safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming area
Work collaboratively with our reception and bathing team to ensure smooth daily operations
Identify potential health or skin issues and communicate them professionally to the client or management
Handle pets with patience and compassion, including seniors, anxious, or reactive dogs
Follow salon sanitation and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
2+ year of professional grooming experience (salon or mobile)
Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts and coat care
Must provide grooming tools and maintain them in good working order
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes safely and confidently
Friendly, team-oriented attitude and great communication skills
Cat grooming experience is a plus but not required
