Immediate Openings – Cable Pullers Needed in Abilene, TX!

Looking to get on a long-term project with plenty of hours? We're hiring Cable Pullers to support several large-scale data center construction projects in the Abilene area . If you're dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and have experience with fiber, coax, or low-voltage cabling, we'd love to talk with you.

Pay & Schedule

Compensation:

• $25.00 - $30.00/hour (Straight Time)
• $37.50 - $45.00/hour (Overtime)
• Final pay rate will be determined by the hiring team based on experience

Hours:

• Expect 10–12 hour shifts
• 6 days per week
• Opportunity for 50–80 hours per week depending on project demands

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic understanding of fiber optic and structured cabling systems is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed
• Ability to pass a background check (no felonies, violent misdemeanors, or active/open cases)

Do You Have Fiber/Cabling Experience?

Candidates with fiber optic knowledge are highly encouraged to apply. You may be asked questions such as:

• What do different fiber optic cable jacket colors indicate?
• What's the difference between single-mode and multimode fiber?
• What tool is used to clean fiber optic connector end faces?
• In the standard 12-fiber color code, what colors represent fibers 4 through 8?
