Job Description
Hover helps people design, improve, and protect the properties they love. With
proprietary AI built on over a decade of real property data, Hover answers
age-old questions like “What will it look like?” and “What will it cost?”
Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals rely on Hover to get fully
measured, accurate, and interactive 3D models of any property — all from a
smartphone scan in minutes.
At Hover, we’re driven by curiosity, purpose, and a shared commitment to serving
our customers, communities, and each other. We believe the best ideas come from
diverse perspectives and are proud to cultivate an inclusive, high-performance
culture that inspires growth, accountability, and excellence. Backed by leading
investors like Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and trusted by industry
leaders including Travelers, State Farm, and Nationwide — we’re redefining how
people understand and interact with their spaces.
WHY HOVER WANTS YOU
At Hover, we're redefining how homeowners, contractors, and insurance
professionals understand and improve properties. As we continue to grow, we're
making a significant investment in organic acquisition—and we're looking for a
Growth Marketing Manager to build that engine.
This is an opportunity to own one of the most strategic growth channels at
Hover. You'll lead our organic search strategy across both traditional SEO and
the emerging world of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), helping ensure
customers discover Hover whether they're searching on Google or asking
AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature program. You'll build the
roadmap, establish best practices, partner across Marketing, Engineering,
Product, and Design, and create an organic growth engine that compounds over
time.
YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE BY
- Responsible for Hover's long-term organic growth strategy across SEO and GEO.
- Build a technical SEO roadmap by identifying opportunities, prioritizing
initiatives, and partnering with Engineering and our SEO agency to improve
site performance.
* Create and evolve a content strategy aligned to contractor and insurance
buyer journeys, ensuring content supports both search visibility and business
objectives.
* Develop Hover's point of view on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO),
experimenting with how AI-powered search experiences discover, summarize, and
recommend our content.
* Build scalable editorial processes, including content briefs, publishing
workflows, and agency management.
* Establish reporting frameworks that connect organic traffic to qualified
leads, pipeline, and business impact.
* Analyze performance data to identify opportunities, measure results, and
continuously improve organic acquisition.
* Influence cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, and
Marketing to prioritize initiatives that improve organic performance.
* Stay ahead of industry trends across search, AI, and content marketing,
bringing new ideas and experimentation to the team.
YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES
* 4-6 years of experience in SEO, Growth Marketing, Organic Acquisition, or a
related discipline.
- Hands-on experience leading both technical SEO and content strategy.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling organic acquisition programs—not
simply maintaining mature channels.
* Deep understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability,
indexing, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
* Experience using SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog,
Google Search Console, or similar tools.
* Experience measuring and communicating business impact, connecting organic
performance to leads, pipeline, or revenue.
* Strong analytical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and marketing
analytics tools.
- Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.
- Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing
teams without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot.
- Experience working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Experience in vertical SaaS, PropTech, ConstructionTech, InsurTech, or other
technical B2B markets.
* Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI search, or
LLM-driven discovery.
* Experience managing agencies or freelance content partners.
BENEFITS
* Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing
company
* Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and
dependents
- Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
- Paid Family Leave - We support work/life balance and offer generous paid
parental and new child bonding leave
* Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to
recharge
* Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes,
meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning
assistance
* Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of
management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
